School is Back.

School is back, which means the zany little kids who attend Ice Skating classes at Murrayfield Ice Rink are back. I had the following conversation with a little boy no older than 8 or 9 years old...

Jon: So are you back at school?
Kid: (nods)
Jon: What year are you in now? [In the UK they say 'year' instead of 'grade']
Kid: 2007.
Jon: (no kidding)
Kid: What's that? (pointing to a heater)
Jon: A heater.
Kid: What's that? (pointing to a security camera)
Jon: A camera.
Kid: Why is there a camera?
Jon: So people don't run off with our skates.
Kid: I'm allergic to cameras.

Kids are allergic to everything.
